DESCRIPTION:Royal Papworth Hospital is delighted to support our colleagues at the British Heart Valve Society in promoting their State of the Art Management in Heart Valve Disease Programme\nThis is an exciting opportunity to learn about state of the art practice in the rapidly evolving field of heart valve disease \nThe aims of this educational day are:\n\nTo provide a contemporary view of advances across surgical and transcatheter techniques in heart valve disease\nTo bring multidisciplinary expertise together to improve collective understanding and support disease orientated care\nTo provide a wider perspective around state of the art management in complex care to achieve best health outcomes for patients\n\nThe programme will comprise: \n\nShort lectures\nPanel and audience discussion\nTrainees’ best abstract/clinical case\n\nView full programme here Join BHVS now and get your member’s registration fee plus one-year membership combined for just £150\n\nRegister here\n \nAccepting abstracts and clinical cases submissions:\nWe welcome submissions from trainees in surgical\, transcatheter and imaging fields. \nAbstracts:\nPlease submit in electronic poster PowerPoint format: relating to original research or local service improvement relating to heart valve disease care pathways and services \nClinical Cases:\nPlease submit in electronic poster PowerPoint format: case presentation\, assessment\, images\, decision making and benefits vs risks assessment\, clinical outcome \nPlease ensure patient identifiable information is redacted and where required\, patient consent is obtained. \nA best abstract/clinical case from each of the three subspecialty fields will be announced and the winners will receive free registration for a BHVS meeting in 2024 \nPlease upload the file in the file upload field or email to admin@bhvs.org.uk \nDeadline for submissions: Sunday 17th September
